Birds, Bees, Butterflies And Gardens

I started gardening when I was around 10 years old. I would wait for my dad to come home from work and change into his shorts. Then we would stroll around the yard and look at the garden. It wasn’t really much, a little vegetable garden and some roses, but I loved that stroll with him.

Once I had my own home I started my own garden. Later I had a daughter who loved to stroll that garden with me as much as I used to love strolling with Dad. She started young. She made a garden wherever we went. Now we share that love of gardens even though we live hours apart.

As I we talk about gardens, and discover what works and what doesn’t, I’ll add the information on this site. It will be practical, useful and beautiful of course, because we will have tried it and used it. Just between us kind of gardening, something that all gardeners understand.
